Halloween Themed Chocolate Crunch Balls

Similar to my Peanut Butter Crunch Balls, I decided to duplicate that recipe using chocolate instead and turning them into spooky pops! This recipe is easy to make and can be very versitile. I decided to go with ghosts and frankenstein monsters as my halloween characters of choice. I made the crunch balls similar to my recipe posted above, just substituting the peanut butter for chocolate, sticking a lollipop stick on the top and decoarating them with candy coating and chocolate chips. This treat is sweet on the outside and crunchy on the inside but packed with loads of chocoalte!

Halloween Themed Chocolate Crunch Balls
8 Tbsp butter
4 Cups mini marshmallows
4 Tbsp corn syrup
5 Cups Rice Krispies Cereal
2 Cup chocolate chips
For Decorating:
1 Bag of each: white, purple and green candy coating
1 Bag mini chocolate chips

1) In a large saucepan over low heat, melt butter
2) Once melted, add marshmallows and corn syrup and stir until mixture is melted and smooth
3) Remove mixture from heat and add in cereal stirring until well mixed
4) Then add chocolate chips and stir until melted and well combined
5) Scoop desired amount of mixture and roll into balls with your hands (keep as is or place a lollipop stick in the middle of each ball to make them into pops)
6) Let balls sit in freezer until set (about 15min), meanwhile melt the candy coating in heatproof bowls
7) Coat each ball with melted candy and decorate with chocolate chips for eyes
8) Decorate the remaning balls as desired with the rest of the candy coating and enjoy!
