Chocolate Fudge Cake (and Happy Valentine's Day)

Not only did we have a bake sale at work yesterday, but we also had a cake walk.  A cake wake is kind of like musical chairs but with numbers on the floor instead of chairs and cake as the prizes! I made this Hyde Park Fudge Cake that I found on Cookie Madness that turned out pretty well.  I never got to eat it but I did eat some of the scrapes that got stuck to the bottom of the pan and it was deliciously fudgey! The icing looks a little messy but but I think it gives the cake character and makes it look all the more chocolatey and yummy to eat.  I really enjoyed the sheen and texture of the icing for this cake and will definitely use it again for another recipe.

I add two tsp of water to the icing like Anna mentioned at the end of her recipe to give it more sheen.  I wasn't able to attend the bake sale at work yesterday but I was told that all my goodies sold fast and the cake was a popular hit as well.  I would definitely make this cake again especially for that someone special who has a chocolate sweet tooth.  I've posted the recipe above and didn't make any changes because it sounded to good to change.
