Chive and Cheddar Biscuits

I have been a huge fan of The Pioneer Woman for a long time now but I spend more time drooling over her site rather than baking from her site.  But, I decided to stop pinning over her recipes and finally make one of them for myself to enjoy!  I was working the morning shift at work this week so I decided I would make something savory rather than sweet.  I decided on making the Pioneer Woman's Bacon Onion Cheddar Biscuits because I thought they would go perfect with everyone's morning coffee's.

The recipe turned out perfect (just like I thought it would), it had a nice moist inside with a surprisingly great crunch on the outside from all the cheese. I decided to switch the recipe up a bit because I was too lazy to cook bacon.  So, I decided on omitting the bacon and substituting an extra cup of cheese (because who doesn't love more cheese?), I also changed the one cup of diced onions to chopped chives.  I think both versions work well and you will definitely not be disappointed with this biscuit for any time of day.
